Hello, very soon I will be building my first PC ever! I'm very excited yet very nervous. With my new PC I plan mostly on gaming with light video editing(Youtube). I hope to play games like GTAV,Fallout 4, Minecraft, Skyrim, LoL, CSGO, Witchcer 3, and most other triple A titles. I hope to play in 1080p 40+fps. I have many questions, so to start does an Ethernet cord come with the computer case? Also with my build should I go with an MSI R9 280x, Evga Geforce GTX 960, or an MSI R9 380? Another question is there any case similar in looks and quietness to the Fractal Design Define R5 with a cheaper price? Do you need an anti static band or is there another way to ground yourself?
Any other tips for a first time builder that you wish you would have known your first time around? Here is build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hWG2D3
My budget is around $850 components $1200 with Operating System and Monite

I am not a gaming expert, but I can tell you that a case does not come with cables (only screws 🙂
You will get the sata cables when you buy the motherboard and I assume that you'll need to buy the ethernet cable extra.
No need to be nervous, but be sure that building a pc is a pleasant task, but you will need to pay attention of course, because you can easily damage some components (eg CPU).
Many books advise to get an anti static band and they may be right, but I have build several pc's without using any anti static protection and I 've never had any problems. However, you should follow the instructions and do not touch the cpu pins and other "fragile" parts.
Good luck!
Hi, this build is very powerful in performance, but i can suggest you to get better GPU if you can afford to go a little bit over budget. The R9 390 or GTX 970 are just perfect, you can max everything 60Fps at 1080p with those 2.
