Hey guys I am starting my first water cooling loop this weekend I have some of the parts and more will be here tomorrow and Friday.
I went all out on this computer because I am leaving for boot camp soon and want to blow all my money before I leave
The parts are as follows:
Mo-Ra 3 pro 4x180 radiator

4x180mm silver stone air penetrator fans

Monsoon fittings x8

XSPC raystorm

Feser red tubing

690 hydro copper

MCP35X pump with the swiftech res top

I'll be mounting the radiator to the right side of the case and adding a window the the left side.

I will be adding links and pictures of what I have as well as anything else I forgot to mention.
It was hard for me to find pictures or info on a lot of this project, so hopefully someone out there will find this helpful/interesting.
Feel free to ask questions or comment :)

List of things to do:
-Lights
Ordered 2 12" uv cathode lights and one 4" red cathode
I need some more red lights I think and I need to figure out how I'm going to control all these because I only have one pci slot open.
-fan controller
Still deciding on one I only really need 1 or 2 channels but I want to put 4 5.4 watt fans on one channel on there own. Not sure how I am going to do this yet. Anyone experienced with this subject please pitch in. I would ultimately like to just have one switch for UV lights one switch for red lights one knob for rad fans and one knob for case fans.
-Cut hole for side panel window and install window
On the base there is a hobby shop where I can get tools so I will either do it myself or go somewhere and have the hole cut out for me
-Install everything on my new SSD.
will be ordering a Samsung 840 Pro 512GB tonight. I am under the impression that it is the fastest SSD available. Correct me if I'm wrong here I've been out of the loop for a while.
-Replace ugly stock cables with sleeved alchemy cables.
I'm excited about this I have replacements for the 24 pin 8 pin and the two PCIe 8 pin connectors. They are red individually sleeved. And a UV reactive red sata cable for my SSD. (ordered and shipping here)

Ok finally Have it running again lol the RAM was bad and corsair wasn't being cooperative with replacing it. Now I can start work on it again. I also got a 840 Pro 512 GB to replace the M4 and got some UV lights!

I'm curious regarding that radiators cooling performance?

I almost bought one of those myself simply because I have about 8 shelved 180mm cooling fans that were sent me to do the cooling fan roundup, but no 180mm fans were covered in the roundup, just 120mm and 140mm.

Instructions to the vendors were clear so I'm not sure why I was sent the 180mm fans but I'll end up using them for something, Eventually.

So how does the radiator perform?

I'm considering a side case mount as you have done to replace my mini RadBox for cooling my GPUs.

I'm already running a 240 and 360 in the Black Ice GTX line which is approximately 600mm of rad cooling area and the rad you're running is approximately 720mm of rad cooling area, so that's a small improvement over what I'm running, but space recovery for me would be worth it.

Maybe?

Well only two of the fans are running at the moment the other two need some extenders to reach the inside of the case. So don't expect the numbers to be accurate plus I have the 4 fan version anyways so u will have twice the fans as me. what kind of fans are there? I did lots of research and couldn't find any benchmarks but i love the airpenatratotrs by silverstone they are quiet and move lots of air.

I have been playing the witcher 2 with everything maxed out except for ubersampling at 2560x1440. I used the level up feature on my mobo to overclock the cpu to 4.6ghz. My 690 settings are as follows, 135 percent powertarget +110mhz gpu offset and +213 on memory. I am getting 60FPS with my GPU temp staying between 27-32degrees Celsius occasionally the second gpu will go to 33. my ambient room temperature is around 70 degrees 21celius. and it is Florida so it is humid i don't know if that matters. my gpu is currently at 22 Celsius idle right now my cpu according to evga E-LEET is at 36 degrees idle. The pump is running 1500 RPM

Of course all this info is pretty negligible right now because I only have two fans running and you will likely have more cooling needs because of your 580's if that's the system you are talking about. There are a small handful of unboxings and maybe even some benchmarks for this rad. it has copper tubing and low FPI i think its 5-7 i forget what. overall I am very pleased with this radiator but It is absolutely overkill. But you are probably like me and want max performance with as low noise as possible. This is defintly a rad to look at there are very few that will out perform it and that is mostly cause they have 120mms or 140mms.

I am already thinking about my next build though and i want to build a comp with even more performance and in a much smaller form factor so this rad is a no go for that.

If you plan on side mounting it be very aware that it is heavy and could make your comp tipsy if not properly supported. it is also very thick even without the fans on it. And you want to get the one with 8xfans on it this will especially apply to you.

I will give you more accurate numbers when this project is complete if you would like.

I am considering it only for GPU cooling as my CPU cooling is covered very well and more than likely would wall mount it behind my computer.

Even as big as it is it'll save me some room back there because my mini RadBox extends out from the wall 13", if I modify it and relocate the 240 I could cut that down to around 9".

Still that rad you're running would be a conversation piece all by itself! 😉

My friends already think I'm crazy! :)

Please keep the cooling numbers coming when you get the other 2 fans in operation?

Well it will be pretty much overkill for anything besides multiple loops but that is kind of the beauty of it. Definitely a conversation piece! Omg dude that's like the radiator in my car! and I'm like I know  putting it on the wall is an awesome option I didn't want to do that because it has to be mobile thats why i picked a microatx case. I will absolutely keep you updated as I get more info. being in the military makes my schedule very unpredictable so this project may take awhile but I want to do it right and not rush it. :)

This is kind of the reason I wanted to make this thread here, most of the stuff I'm using and the stuff I'm doing has no info on it online. And as I did more research i really wished someone had more info for me. So I'm going to try and make this a resource.
