Question FirstChip FC1179 Flash Drive firmware repair / MP Tool support needed ?

Hello everyone,

I have a USB flash drive with the following details found via ChipGenius:

• Controller Vendor: FirstChip
• Controller Part Number: FC1179
• Flash ID: SanDisk 64GB TLC
• USB Device ID: VID=048D PID=1234
• Product Model: Disk 3.0

The flash drive is showing fake capacity or has firmware issues, and I want to repair it using an MP Tool.

I have tried using the FastChip MP Tool but it does not detect the USB device. Also, the official download link for FC1179 tools (http://dl.mydigit.net/search/?type=all&q=FC1179) is not working.

I am currently running Windows 11 21H2. (or specify your OS), and I have tried on multiple USB ports and PCs without success.

Could anyone please provide:

1. A working MP Tool compatible with FirstChip FC1179,
2. Any instructions or tips for safely repairing this flash drive,
3. Recommendations on which Windows version or environment (VM) is best for these tools.

Is this a new condition? Did it ever work properly?
