Hi,
I am pretty confused at the moment. MSi does not list my GTX970 as compatible , but i was told nearly every GPU is supported by the current MoBos. Pcpartpicker lists it as compatible.
I need to use the 970 because i can't get my hands on a new 3070 for a decent price.
Can anybody with a bit of knowledge help me? Motherboard is the MSi B550 Gaming Plus, which is not ordered yet. CPU is Ryzen 5-5600X
Thank you very much, i appreciate your help

All you need is an empty PCIe x16 slot on the motherboard.
Where did you find that "list" it's missing from ?
