Flash drive format

My personal computer is a MacBook Air and I've put a presentation on a flash drive that I need to present elsewhere. I formatted as ms-dos fat because its apparently the format that works on both windows and mac. However, the computer I needed to present on is a windows pc and when I plugged in my flash drive it said something like flash drive unrecognizable.

What is the correct format I could format my flash drive with on my mac that will be readable on a pc?

Ntfs, Fat32, exFat.

Ive recently formatted my flash drive as Fat 32 from disk utility what it wasnt readable on a windows pc

Then format flash drive to Fat32 on windows pc and see if mac can access it.

Probably you didn't safely remove (eject) USB flash drive from mac.
