So, I've plugged my flash drive into my computer today to do some stuff with it, and then I saw some infected. It made all of the folders into .exe files! I tried to do with Avast, did nothing. Tried with ESET, it literally deleted almost all of my files from the flash drive and they've got corrupted. I've tried to format it, but I decided to go into CCleaner's drive wiper, but got back into formatting right now. I'm waiting for the format to complete its operation. What should I do now?
The flash drive is a Kingston DataTraveler G4 one with 16gb. Thank you! :)

Solution
If you 1's and 0's it (leave Quick format UNCHECKED) that's about the best you can do. Any other form of infection would have wrecked far more fundamental parts of the USB, and at that point it should simply be replaced.

Are you sure it's the USB stick? As well, try downloading something like Kaspersky's Rescue Disk on a safe system and boot from that. It's a non-Windows environment that has much better access to the hard disk for cleaning purposes.
