Went to Seaside Heights, NJ - South Jersey Shore. Visited Flashback
arcade there. Nice collection of classic vids. To name a few, Spy
Hunter sit down, pole position sit down, mr do, mr do's castle,
robotron, defender, stargate, track/field, ms pacman, budweiser tapper,
gyruss and a bunch more.......
Pinball machines: whitewater, hi speed, pinbot, Tomcat F14 and even
Hercules to name a few....
Overall, I would rate the arcade at a C+. Many games were working but
maintenance was poor. For Ex. most pinball machines needed flipper
adjustment. Many stuck flippers and weak flippers. Video games were in
pretty decent working condition. Needed some cosmetic maintenance. AIR
CONDITIONING:::::: Something desperately needed here. I think it was
just out the weekend I went. Very nice to see all these classics in one
room and people actually playing them. Go to all the other arcades with
non-classics and they just sit. Classics still hold everyone's interest
for sure. It's worth the day on the boards. Brings you back to the good
ole days.
