Hello all,

I have a question - I would like to flash my new GPU ( Gainward Phantom RTX 4070 Ti Super ) for a same BIOS, except it is from OC version of Phoenix.
but, when i try to control checksum - compatibility over nvflash, it shows legacy_bios - mismatrch

The BIOS is ALMOST perfectly same, and also one thing - Board ID checksum shows also Mismatch, but i think it's both are same card, same features, everything safe, just with higher clocks.

I am not trying to destroy my GPU, but on my stock BIOS, there no way how ti "raise" Power Limit, which holds me back with more oveclocking. (cooler is more robust than it's needed).
Thank you for your reply, experiences and so on.

This may help. Disclaimer: even if the BIOS you're using is from an "almost the same" card, flashing a different BIOS may end up with you getting an expensive paperweight; proceed with caution, if it breaks don't blame anyone else, etc.

I wouldn't blame others for my "mistake" with flashing. It's my own risk i know. I am just curious about "Almost" same BIOSes. For me most important thing is that i can raise PL (not much), but still, kterre than nothing. OMGVflash will check it.
