Question Flashing bios

Flashing BIOS from BIOS is the same as flashing it using a chip programmer like CH341A?
Wait, why do you need external BIOS flasher? If this is for a motherboard you can just go for flashing it through USB through many methods.

If you mean in how it fundamentally works, yeah kind of. The old data in the ROM gets flushed, replaced with the new one.

I've been having problems booting from USB/HDD i took the laptop to the repair shop and they didn't find any hardware issue and from what i've read in forums it could be a corrupted bios that's why i'm asking if those 2 methods are the same... I've updated my bios to the latest version but problem (random BSOD) is still there and i wanna try flashing it using a programmer. 😥

Alright so that's the why. Any reason for a live boot through external drive or is this boot for installing other operating systems like Windows?
What's the tool did you use to make the ISO? Rufus? Windows Media Creation Tool? BalenaEtcher?

Nope. Getting BSOD in Windows and Kernel Errors in Linux / macOS booting from USB
But i've tried multiples linux distros and so far i've found Debian and Arch Linux works fine i've installed Steam and i can play without problems so i can discard GPU/CPU problems.
Also linux distros that aren't booting works only when using acpi=off in grub.

Similar problem:

BSOD in Windows and Kernel Errors in Linux / macOS booting from USB
As in you immediately BSOD the second you tried to install Windows? Dang.
Did you catch the error code on it by chance?

And yeah sorry, on Linux and Mac i presume its just straight kernel panic. I cant really solve Linux issue just yet and most of my Mac knowledge is limited to Final Cut usage.

You can see i was able to boot Windows but sadly i forgot to plug the charged and it turned off 🙁 in Ubuntu pc freezes.

I was able to take a pic of these but always is a random error and sometimes it just restarts quickly.
