Question Flashing colors after new install windows 11

Hello,

I have installed a new motherboard and reinstalled windows, but now my screen keeps flashing in different colors.
It only works properly when i connect another screen, but as soon as i disconnect that screen, my main screen starts flashing again. In the past i had the same problem but i forgot how i solved this.
Can anyone tell me what to do?

Try a different video cable. Avoid using video signal converters (like HDMI to VGA or DP to VGA).
Install chipset drivers, if you have forgotten to install them. Get them at motherboard manufacturer support site.
Install graphics drivers.

Thank u for the reply, i did all those things but it doesnt seem to help.

What model motherboard and graphics card are you using?
What type video cable are you using?

Connect main screen to video output, where you connect your "another" screen (with same cable you connect "another" screen).

Motherboard; Asus P8Z77-M
Gpu; Nvidia Geforce GT1030
The cable is hdmi high speed for 4K ultra hd

If i switch the screens, the other screen works just fine so i guess it must be some kind of setting that is not compatible with my main screen (they are both 4k tv's)

I finally found the solution, seems i had to put the refreshrate at 30hz.
