Hello,

Motherboard is a Z97 Xpower AC.

Have a rather irritating issue I can't seem to get rid off. I have installed Windows 10 under ACHI Mode, if I boot it won't start and instead I get a flashing cursor top left of the screen. If I boot in IDE mode it boots fine.

It has been working, but I've moved my pc into a new case however none of the hardware has changed. I have tried editing registry, I have installed drivers I can find. I have cleared CMOS and all that jazz, but everything without fail if I'm set to boot to ACHI I get the flashing cursor. I can also boot in RAID Mode by the way also.

The SSD is a Kingston SSD now 200. This has been working fine until I've moved case.

I've tried booting into safe mode also but doesn't really help me.

Desperate issue as I require hot plug.

Thanks

Ryan

Looks like an MSI Bug, I used Live Update to patch to Bios version 1.9.
Anyone else that is running 1.7 and has had this issue after a case move or similar this seemed to fix it for me.

Run Live Update and all should be well, none of the Registry Tweaks etc helped me at all.
