Flashing red led on case?

I had recently purchased a Raidmax Smilodon Mid-Tower ATX Case. At first, the three LED lights on the front panel door were green (the ones that look like three claws), however now just the middle one is flashing faintly red. I've shut down and restarted and checked the cable connections but everything seems normal. Does this light indicate something? What is wrong?

Here is a link to the case I own.

Dont you watch action films? Its either a listening device or a bomb - its more likely to be a bomb if it makes a faint beeping noise when it flashes....

Are you sure its not the HDD LED? i couldnt see where that is from the website? try disconnecting it from the MB and see what happens....

Just happened upon this thread; in case you haven't solved it yet, it's definitely that the power cable to the front LED has become disconnected or otherwise non-functional. I have the exact same case and disconnected said cable on purpose, and am getting exactly the phenomenon you describe. I got tired of the green LED lights and just wanted them to go away, but now I have to deal with this blinking red crap...>_<

I have the same case and had the same issue and I could not figure it out. Then, my system started cutting off. I took the side panel off and the interior had pulled in a lot of dust (it sat on the floor under my desk). When I took the heatsink off the CPU, it was chocked full. After cleaning the interior and cleaning the heatsink and reinstalling it, the temperature of the CPU dropped and the red light went away.

I think it is an temperature indicator for your CPU, similar to some of the other cases that have the digital indicators.

Just another side note...we had a HUGE power surge today...knocked power out for at least a 10 blocks (the store I work at and my apartment were both hit) and now mine is doing that. Possibly blew out the front lights from a surge? Although I haven't dusted mine for about a month, and it should not be that dirty I suppose it could be that too :/
