My flash drive, a Sony 4GB 3.0 USB connected to my computer as storage, and ReadyBoost for additional system memory, cannot be noticed; and it indicates zero files! In fact a command from the ribbon bar of the view tab, whereby "Hidden items" from the Show/hide category had to be check marked for the drive (the Sony 3.0 flash drive) to be seen. It shows, as I have explained above, 0 bytes. Furthermore, under Devices and Printers the icon of the flash drive is listed as "IS916EN"; also at the USB Drive (E) Properties dialogue box, under the Hardware tab, it is named "Innostor NAND Flash USB Device", Type category is "Disk drives".
Whenever I try to open the flash drive, a dialogue box states that a drive or disk is to be inserted into my Acer V3 laptop computer operating on Windows 10 even though it is connected into a USB hub; I have also tried every other USB port at the sides, the two 2.0 USB ports, and the one 3.0 USB port to the left of the laptop, and nothing seems to work. Therefore, what is going on? Furthermore, is there anything that can be done to repair this flash drive that does not function; to go back to what it does again? Thanks for your consideration.
Sincerely,
