Flickering Taskbar on Windows 7

I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, AMD Radeon R9 280 with latest driver, running two screens, and the taskbar keeps flickering whenever I open or run applications.

I've run sfc /scannow, run Memtest...no faults found. Changing the monitor scaling doesn't solve it.

I've noticed there's no flickering when I use Eyefinity to turn the two monitors into one, but returns when I run it as an extended desktop (which I prefer).

What's going wrong?

How are the monitors plugged in? HDMI, VGA Etc. Are you using any converters? ( HDMI To VGA ) for example.

Both via HDMI, the secondary monitor has a DVI to HDMI converter, but no flickering there.

I reinstalled the AMD driver. Sorted.
