What aircraft? Are you using the AP? What is the speed and V/S during
climb? Did you check the weight and fuel load? Few will climb directly
to FL250 and require step climb, especially at or near MTOW (max
take-off weight)

Any airplane will stall, at any altitude, and at any
attitude and airspeed.

You can easily stall at 25,000 feet with full power.

You are probably raising the nose too many degrees above
the horizon (see the little airplane on the instrument
panel and the degree marks above it) and are reducing the
wings' angle-of-attack, thereby stalling the plane.

The wing simply quits flying and down you go. Try climbing
at a faster speed by lowering the nose and reducing your
climb rate - the little VSI indicator at the bottom of the
panel. Climb at say, 1,000 feet per minute at full power,
and you'll be OK.

Let me add that piston driven aircraft need to have the
fuel mixture leaned out as altitude increases. Dave
