Hello everyone, bought a new prebuilt pc and it has input lag. """Kinda""" subtle but makes it impossible for competitive FPS games. It's like you're moving your mouse through a virtual machine. When I track targets I have to try to move my mouse without relying on my screen in real time, because if I do I'll always miss, overshoot, overtrack, etc... And it's also on the keyboard, it happens on every game and desktop too.
My current PC specs are:
RTX 3060ti
i7 10700
32gb 3600 ram
2TB SSD kingston
B560M Gaming HD
PSU MAG850GL
My older PC specs (it was perfect):
GTX 1060ti 6gb
i5 7400
16gb ram
500GB SSD + 1TB HD
ga-h270m-gaming 3
PSU Corsair cx450
EPP is off, I've tried messing with C-States, power plans, reinstalling windows, XMP on/off, bcdedit commands, reinstalling drivers (with and without DDU), HPET on/off, resizable bar, GSync, V-Sync, Game mode, Game bar, disabling all overlays... Different usb ports, pretty much everything I could think of and saw on the internet.
Also tried changing PSU, Mobo, Ram, SSD, GPU, Case, the only thing I haven't touched is the CPU. Tried different mouses, monitors (75hz, 165hz) and mousepads too. Never had any issue with input lag before, but it came with this new pc that I bought back in 2020 and it's just unplayable, I can still enjoy singleplayer and other genres, but my fav one that is online fps games I can't anymore. It's worse than playing on a TV! I know so many people ask for help with this issue and don't get it but we are in 2024 already, this is the most obscure problem I've seen about PCs, please please help!
As for electricity... My house doesn't have proper grounding but I tested my PC on my friends' house (no grounding there either) and it was the same. At this point I just didn't try it in a properly grounded place or testing another CPU, apart from that I'm out of ideas.
