Neither are recommended, as they are both dead sockets. AMD is releasing a new platform, early next year. So wait for AM4, or buy intel 1151.

Both AM3+ and FM2+ are basically at their end of life seeing as AMD released AM4 in September (OEM systems currently with Bristol Ridge cpus). If you want an AMD system I would wait a few months till high end AM4 boards and Zen based cpu's are on the market. If you can go Intel an LGA-1551 based system is enough for most people and is much faster in most workloads than AMD's current cpus.
