The distinguished English Col. Lance was describing to his American
hostess how he got some of his decorations in WWI: You see, there were 3
fokkers behind me and 2 fokkers above me...

An American guest interrupted: I think we should explain to our hostess
that a fokker is a German plane.

The Col replied: Quite right, gov'ner - but these fokkers were flying
Messerschmawhatever.....

Good old joke, once told by Stan Boardman on 'The Des O'Connor Show' back in
1986 on UK television.

Out of interest "formerly Chris" who. I have a reason for asking the
question as I lost contact with a guy called Chris from the UK on this group
a while back.

Thanks

Afraid its not me. I have only been a regular viewer/poster to this group
for about 6 months. Have you tried Friends Reunited?
