[SOLVED] Folder is not showing up, but taking space

My folder which contained about 70gb of data just disappeared between last night and this morning. It had world of warcraft in it, which i played just last night and this morning when i started the pc its gone, but still taking space in the drive.

So its still taking the space, but i cant find it. chkdsk and crystaldisk shows all good, trying to view hidden folders doesn't show it either. tried also checking it with recuva, but doesn't show anything. id be fine downloading it again, but now that 70gb is bricked and cant be used so i guess only way to get rid of it is to formate the drive?

windirstat shows it, but as "found.002" folder. is there way to recover it? atleast i can delete it now

do you have more found folders? how old is the 500gb ssd? what brand?

yes, theres two showing.

its samsung 960 evo nvme m.2, almost 2 years old. not sure if related, but ive had trouble with it before. when downloading games in steam to the ssd, sometimes it randomly gives corrupt disk but once the games are downloaded they work fine. and when benchmarking with samsung magician it gives error

you might be able to rma it, I think the warranty on Samsung SSD is 5 years.
