i attempted to install a couple of programs but they appear during install in fonts so small as to be unreadable. MS of course doesn't supply any solution. i haven't found any solution so far. there are two programs doing this so i can't install them. the problem apparently is common but most answers don't make sense to me. there should be some way to work around this. if i change the dpi or resolution all my other programs turn into monster sized fonts and i still can't read the problem installs. i hope there is an answer here so i don't have to abandon the programs.

You've posted this thread in the Windows 7 section yet you mentioned Windows 11 in your specs. Are you using a VM for Windows or are you referring to Windows 11 overall?

If Windows 11, then you should be able to adjust your font size if you go into Start> Settings > Accessibility(left hand navigation pane)>Text Size

The other thing you might want to look at is scaling, which can be found under Related settings(just under Text Size)> Display > Scroll down and you should see Scale
