Asus > MSI. So i would go for the Asus if these are your only choices. Otherwise Asrock has a couple of nice boards too.

Quality, support and price wise. MSI has never been really good with motherboards, only their latest haswell boards seem decent.

Well the ASRock 990FX Extreme3 is a nice looking board for example, and a bit cheaper than that asus, whilst still offering (kind of) the same features. If you want to do alot of overclocking i'd recommend that ASus though.

Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 is pretty much better than all the boards listed above. MSI's AM3+ boards are far from bad, only lack some modern features like front usb3.0 ports. In the 3 boards above, I'd pick the GD65 from MSI.
