Sorry to be a pain in the a$$ but I posted that I was going to buy an Asus Mobo Asus P4B533-E i845E P4 (533FSB) Skt478 DDR ATX Motherboard w/Audio, RAID, LAN Retail 400/533FSB, ATA/100, 3DDR DIMM, AGP Pro, 6PCI, 4USB 2.0, 2 Firewire, Audio, RAID, LAN

You Replied that Asus now has an i845PE chipset board that's similar but with DDR333 support for better upgrade options?

No I didn't and I can't seem to find out which board it is.Can you fill me in with the answer?? :)

I was looing to buy everything from Googlegear as their price's seem to be pretty good. I not real worried about OC"n because i'd fry everything, lol

yes...the 845PE has been released very recently under the name of asus P4PE...its a really neat motherboard IMO...but at a high price....close to $200 last time i check (in US dollars)...

anyways...i think your P4B533 will do you just nicely...it has an undocumented dip switch that allows ddr354 memory speed at FSB > 132...which is slightly higher than ddr333...
as for the ram...try come corsair pc3000 ram...those seem pretty reliable.

Anyway, he might be right on the pricing. If you decide to go with the P4B533-E, I recommend PC3200 and running the memory at DDR354 (177MHz clock) with a QDR533 (133MHz clock) CPU bus. Of course PC3000 would work, and some PC2700 (normal clock 166MHz) would handle the extra speed. But Cas 2.5 PC3200 (DDR400=200MHz clock) should run at Cas2 when lowered to DDR354 speed.
