When gaming for a while, all that stuff about supporting you lumbar and proper posture really becomes bloody appearance and necessary.

I have been through so many chairs, the last time I was searching for a new chair the wife and I went to our local Office Depot and basically spent the afternoon there.

I think the employees thought we were never going to leave, but all the chairs have a certain comfort when you first sit in them but what about long term, some get really uncomfortable.

Finally found exactly what I was looking for and have not the first time regretted getting it.

Pros: Fully adjustable period

Cons: The Headrest did drop a little too easy, but a Nylon Wire tie stopped that altogether.

Comments: I would make the same purchase again.

So heres my chair reccommendation.

Yes, I too spend the afternoon at OD .... and OM looking for chairs.

I find your chair design good looking for sufferers of Wide But Disease, but the arm design (with just one point of attachment using two screws) is easily broken or the mounting screws become loose when the mounts wear due to stress from the user's arms. The arm designs that are not adjustable and mount to both the seat bottom AND the seat back are the most durable designs.

I didn't catch if you were using Vista, and what your setup was. I sold my x1900AIW card and will be dropping my X1950GT over into this system. What caught my eye in your post is that I plan on getting the cheapest available 8800GTS (320mb) card I can (for around $290, last I saw it) with the money. Is this a good plan? (edited to add:) That card will be going in an SLI system, with future add-on possibilities.

My article ideas are bad? Well apparently, you don't mod. Nothing is more aggravating then building a mATX PC (which are hard to work on) and then have some stupid little lights burn out on you, and having to rip the whole case apart just to replace some lights. I fail to see how a long term LED study isn't beneficial to the enthusiast PC building group. As for my ideas being bad...that IS a matter of opinion. BRAINSTORMING and generating some bad ideas is usually seen as a good creative power. So I honestly don't care what your opinions are, but at least I have some ideas. 🙂

I have a leaner ass, and padding becomes a concern. 🙂 To sit comfortably, I need soft foam that won't get too squished if one of my heavier-set friends sits in the chair for a few hours. It sux to plop down only to have my whole spine and head jarred from lack of padding that's usually there, but that's been smashed into oblivion. I bought a couple of cheap leather chairs from Meijer, and they do ok but there are several things I'd love to have in a chair. Fold-out of the way armrests, reclining properties (for movie watching), low cost ($500 range), good padding, no squeaks!, and gaming chairs seem to come with a high price and speakers next to my head. Who needs speakers in their chair? A small wheel base (removable) would be excellent too, it'd have to be heavy. Carpet rollability is also a real plus. Most of us probably don't use hardwood floors. Just a few more things one might take note of when choosing a good chair. HON makes many of the chairs used in schools and stuff, from cheap ones to executive chairs like those you might find in the oval office. I think my next chair choice might be mesh instead of leather, as leather leaves me with a sweaty arse sometimes. I do like this idea for an article too, but there are SOOO many chairs to choose from, and availability will differ too unless we're shopping online from well-established makers like HON. The criteria for an article would have to be pretty strict, and a good deal of research done. But at least those looking to buy a chair would have some sort of direction and an idea of what THEY might be looking for as well.

kinda geeky, but for band, I don't like band that much, but I enjoy my instrument, so I decided to audition for a top level band at my school

wind ensemble? thats what they call it here in GA. what do you play? i used to play the sexyphone. not to be confused with the saxophone, thats a different instrument. yeah. band, what fun times. i'm still an honorary semi-band nerd even tho i'm not in the band anymore 😀

saxophone 8)

:trophy:  :trophy: for _Tacos

hahahahahaha thats so great. omg. thats like perfection. but COME ON, you know you play the sexyphone, too. don't be modest. HAH! thats so great. so was it the top wind-ensemble-like band that you tried out for [and did well]?

yeah, I think I'm getting in, but it isn't that appealing to the person I like....

awh come on. you must not be playin' your cards right. i, in all of my computer-band-geekiness can play it off well with my upperclassmen "hard" friends... you know the types to which i refer... THEM. the key is not to see it as a weakness, don't be like, "don't laugh, but i'm in the band," be like "i'm in the band, bitch!"

bad example, but still.

OH wait you said person as in singular. okay. now i know what you're talking about. mmmrh. thats more complicated.

If she isn't interested in you, (you sound ok, very similar to me in HS, except no band and Hockey was the sport of choice), don't try to change to make it so.

I know, could that be any more cliche :?: When the heck did I turn into the old guy giving unwanted advice?

I hate to say it, but for the most part, at least in my experience, HS girls prefer guys who treat the more aloof/like dirt. They seem to be more interested if they think you have more important concerns than them.

DISCLAIMER: I am not suggesting you treat any girl that way, just seems to be what they go for in a lot of cases.

it depends on the person.

i see idiots,a$$holes, rude, ugly, stupid, and cool people.

of all colors red, white, black, pink, blue, green.

they are customers at my work.

yeah i hate assholes when it comes to guys + girls. ugh. that really pisses me off. i'm a skinny guy, and i don't have anger problems anymore like i used to  , but THOSE are the people that i have the urge to fight. call it quasi-chivalry, but those guys piss me off. bad.

There is that too. I just meant that for all that girls mature faster than boys, in Some ways, they really don't show it.

I know better than to get into the other discussion (pr!cks come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and sexes.)

Dude, not rly, that's not crossing the line...we dont even know each other in real life, why should Tacos care?
I wouldnt care if that guy said it to me, because being multitalented (and cocky) is cool. I am, and im sure Tacos is, a kid that wants to learn more about how computers work etc. and not a 24 year old guy who screwed up a lot in life, and has one skill (building computers).

Dude, taco, u wrestle too? What weight class?

4.4 bitach (cockiness again, there it is ;( )

Yeah, I wouldn't care either, but as you said, you don't know the other person, or how they will react to what you say. Hell I've said almost that exact same thing to lots of people, but they were people who knew I was kidding and wouldn't take it the wrong way.

You want cockiness, try 5.28 out of 5.28 (But then, we had a messed up scale where college in HS courses were worth 6, advanced courses were worth 5, and normal courses were worth four).
