I will acquire 1 of these game via Nvidia GeForce Experience, like them both I won't lie but I'd like to know which of them is better in a long term. I mean is wildlands a game that I will finish the story and that it or can I keep playing like in competitive or something. I know for honor is multi-player and I would be able to compete against other players so I know it's a game I could play for a long time like csgo, Dota 2 or smite. But is wildlands worth it? If I finish the story game will it end up being obsolete after all?

Solution
I'd say get For Honor as it has a better meta game. Wildlands is just dull and glitchy according to what I've seen on YouTube.
P.S. I was on the same boat and ended up with For Honor.

Recently, they have patched some of the connection problems and I've had no problems with it ever since. There's a steep learning curve for each character you play, and they're all unique.

I've spent some time with For Honor as well but in my opinion having only P2P connection for such a game in 2017 is a crime.

Even with dedicated servers, they would still have problems according to Campos-Oriola: http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/ubisoft-for-honor-connection-issues/

The connection problem has decreased since release but not entirely. I still play to this date and I don't have any problems.

According to this, there's a possibility to switching to dedicated: https://pvplive.net/c/for-honor-dedicated-servers-are-a-possibility

Ofc there would be problems if they do it half-assed just like in the Division. Go play a similar game like Chivalry, which has dedicated servers and you will never have connection issues. Again having P2P servers in a multiplayer game (which is not turn based where lag doesnt matter) in 2017 is a crime.

I never said it wasn't a crime. My point is that they have fixed some of the connection problem since release as I don't have any problems now. It's playable now and the game is great. The only problem now is that they have over $700 worth of micro transaction which would take about two years to get all those things without paying, and a terrible story mode.
