Hi Guys and girls.

I recently ordered a lot of components for my computer.

TBird 1.2 Ghz.
Asus A7V
AOPEN HQ08 Case 300W

Now I am having terrible problem (for me terrible ;-)
I am looking for cpu cooler.
I thought Thermaltek SuperORB is good. But not sure if it is right choice for my CPU.
I don't wanna fry my CPU later.

Can you give any good suggestions?

Thank you in advance

I just change from a retail fan and heatsink to a FOP38. The temperature when from 49C to 38C. It is a little loud.

Umm... advise- those "orbs" suck. There isn't a good amount of heat dispersal to the heatsink with those things. They just look cool. Go with an Alpha PAL6035-A or GlobalWin FOP38. Those are the two best- bar none. Hedgehogs are OK- they now use copper heatsinks which disperse heat real well- but the fans Hedgehog use suck.

Actually thermaltake orbs are ok. Most reviews put them dead average (including TomHP) in performance or better. And they look cool and are a good price. I personally like global win or alpha, but the thermaltake orbs aren't bad. The other orb like heat sinks are not as good though. And also in Tom's review- not that I'd swear by this review- the orb out performed the hedgehog by a good margin and weigh less and cost less.

Hi guys. Thank you very much.
I bought Alpha Pal6035. I hope it will freeze my CPU. 😎

Ha ha ha!!! Coolermaster? Your nuts. It might be approved by AMD but you'll never see me buy one. It might be ok for non-overclockers- but I'd never try and overclock shiznit with that thing.

Guys so is it OK for my T-Bird 1.2 Ghz?

Here is description what I bought:

Alpha PAL 6035 Duron, Thunderbird Fantastic Cooler w/Delta 38CFM 60x25 Fan grill 3/4pin adapter

I am an overcloacker, but I will have a lot of stuff on my computer, that's why I need good cooling.

Guys please advise me.

Thank you very much for your time.

I've got a PAL 6035 MFC on my 950 tbird running at 1100. I can't remember the fan, but I think it's a higher speed YS-Tech. No heat problems at all. Just keep an eye of the fit. I think they've put out 2 or 3 revs of this cooler and two different clips.

Thanks. I will check it. I just confused with different variations of Pal 6035. I hope I got right one.
