Hi everyone,

First my PC spec:
SSD: plextor m6 pro 256gb
MB: ASUS Z97-K
Running Win7 64-bit

Yesterday night, my computer is a little weird, all the software cannot be closed, even I use the task manager, and I cannot shutdown my PC too. So I tried to force my PC to shutdown by pressing the power button for about 4 seconds. My PC obviously shutdown but I no longer can boot to my OS again.

First, I startup my PC by pressing the power button, then the logo of ASUS shown up.
Then, there is black screen and a minus sign on the top left corner just like cmd style.
The minus sign and black screen loop for a few times then suddenly came to the BIOS.
In the BIOS, when I still plug in my SSD, it can still be detected.

The BIOS can still detect my SSD, but I tried to boot, still lead to failure, there is boot loop when turning on and for a few loop later, the BIOS appeared.

So do anyone know what is going on? Is there any possibility of saving my SSD back? If no, can I still use the SSD to install the OS again or do a RMA?

Thanks in advance.

I follow the following guide but it still cannot work.

"In most cases, your SSD can be returned to normal operating condition by completing a power cycle. The process will take approximately one hour.

We recommend you perform this procedure on a desktop computer because it allows you to only connect the SATA power connection, which improves the odds of the power cycle being successful. However, a USB enclosure with an external power source will also work. Apple and Windows desktop users follow the same steps.

1. Once you have the drive connected and sitting idle, simply power on the computer and wait for 20 minutes. We recommend that you don't use the computer during this process.

2. Power the computer down and disconnect the drive for 30 seconds.

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 at least one more time.

4. Reconnect the drive normally, and boot the computer to your operating system.

5. If the latest firmware has not been updated to your drive, do so. Go to Crucial.com Product Downloads - Firmware Updates for our firmware updatese."

Ok, Try the following:

1) Disable fast boot. Save. Reboot.
2) Disable Secure Boot
3) Enable CMS mode.

One of them might work. Some in conjuction might work. Try them and report when ready and if it is fixed.

Should I do all of them together? Or one by one?

Do you mean CSM Mode?
I can't disable the secure boot as there is no option for me to do so.
