Forgot to restore BIOS to default when updating bios, should i be worried?

HI guys, I had overclocked my system, (ram and cpu and other setting changed on Z370e), but before i updated the bios to 1802, i forgot to reset the BIOS to default. The bios update finished fine but i'm worried something happened, even though nothing may have happened just worried

When i went back into the bios the values were back at default, so maybe updating bios resets settings to default before updating?

Yes , if you update a BIOS it will set your values back to default , no harm done.

So the main reason they advise against flashing when oc'd is because the system might crash during the procedure if the overclock isn't stable?

Manufactures recommend it be at defaults to insure it installs correctly.

sorry for all this back and forth it's just when it comes to these things any small thing like 1 frame lost in a game i overthink stuff, but thanks for reasurring
