[SOLVED] Forgot to uninstall Nvidia driver before purchasing AMD GPU. Will I run into problems?

I forgot to use DDU to uninstall the GPU drivers before selling my gtx 1060. Now I've ordered a 6600 XT and I was wondering if I'll be able to use my pc, uninstall the old drivers and install news ones without any problems.

boot into safe mode and uninstall the old driver

If you have integrated graphics you can do it using that. If not, you can always do it when you install the new card.

No. You won't run into any problems. AMD and NVidia drivers are sufficiently different now that the two will not interfere with each other.
