format pen drive in unrecognized file system(RAW)

when i connect my pendrive it is getting detected and icon is displayed in my computer. but it cannot be opened nor can it be formatted. tried almost every thing like reassigning drive name, formatting through cmd prompt, formatting through device manager, formatting through the disk manager etc. I dont want to recover the data but just want my pendrive to work. please suggest any new ways to format my pendrive and use it later.

If it cannot be opened, or formatted it may be time to buy a new one the nand flash may be worn out. There is not much you can do once it gets to that sage but go out and buy a new pen drive.
