Formatted Computer and DNS is STILL not responding - Please help

Hi all, I've been having a problem with my wireless internet connection on and off for weeks, it was just annoying at first but now it has stopped working completely. My connection is fine but nothing will load at all.

So I ran troubleshooter and got the message "Your computer is correctly configured but the DNS server is not responding.

I have tried absolutely everything I know how to do, flushing DNS, disabling the firewall and all antivirus, unplugging and replugging the router, and putting in alternative DNS numbers such as 208.67.222.222 and many more.

So, I finally formatted my computer and now I'm at a complete loss because the same problem remains. It's infuriating and I haven't been able to use the computer at all.

Everyone else in my home has no problems, it's just me. The computer is Windows 7 professional 64 bit.
I'm writing this on my phone because I don't have a laptop and obviously the computer is not accessible to the internet.

Thanks for any help, I am 16 and don't have any technical training so please bear with me.

Please open a command prompt on your PC (enter cmd in the search field) and enter "ipconfig /all". Post th output here. You may transfer it with a flash drive to another computer to do so. If you have to re-type it on the phone, we at least need the DHCP info, the ip address and the gateway address shown for the wireless adapter.

Go into the Network and Sharing Centre

On the left, click on "Change adapter settings"

Double-click your wireless connection.

Click Properties at bottom left of box.

Double-click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)

Click radio-button for "Obtain an IP address automatically"

Below that, click radio-button for "Obtain DNS server address automatically"

Click 'OK' to save new configuration.

And the ip address 10.0.0.17 is coming from your router? Router address is 10.0.0.1? Change the dns server address to 10.0.0.1 and on the command prompt, try "ping comcast.net". Do you get an IP address for comcast.net?

Yes I'm pretty sure it is. I just changed the DNS to what you said. The following is what I get from that command,

And as you can see, the DNS server works! You put in a name "comcast.net" in this case and you get an IP address back. Try again with "ping heise.de", just to make sure, it is not the dns cache.
