I'm moments away from building my new pc, but am looking to use my old ssd and hdd. I thought that ONLY windows was installed on the SSD, but apparently I haven't even touched my 1TB HDD. So, everything on my computer is on my SSD. I don't care too much about keeping the files on this computer, I just want a fresh SSD to install my windows on when I finish the build. What the hell should I do?

During the new OS install, simply delete all the existing partitions on the SSD.
When it asks 'where, select Custom.
Select each existing partition, and DELETE.
Proceed on from that.

And when you are installing this, have only the SSD connected. Connect the HDD later.

So I can hook up the SSD without any kind of formatting and then during the windows installation it will give me the chance to "format" it? Sorry, never done anything like this before.
