I attempted to clone my main C drive using the bootable disc version of EaseUS Todo Backup Free Edition, and I apparently somehow messed up (I got a bluescreen error when I tried to boot up the cloned disc in place of my original C drive). I want to try again, but now the destination disc is not empty. I deleted two partitions on it using Windows Disc Management (don't worry, I didn't boot up with both discs in, I booted up, then put the clone in an external hard drive enclosure), but can't find a way to delete the Recovery Partition. Internet searches have proved fruitless about how best to wipe my drive in order to have it clean to try to clone to again.
Do I need to format the drive, or will Easeus handle the problem itself with its sector by sector cloning? If I do need to format the drive, how do I go about it?
