I have a new 1TB Western Digital and running into a problem while trying to format it for Windows Pro 7 32bit or Windows Alienware 64bit Edition (My chip is a 64 bit processor)first it wont read the operating system disk that was a copy the Alienware that is why I tried a Dell O/s disk with Windows 7 Pro. 32bit,
So typical I go to the Windows Installation screen set the language and it works etc then go to the install screen and click the install now button it loads for a few minutes and says Windows setup is starting.
Then heres the problem I get a popup that says exactly: "A required CD/DVD drive device is missing. If you have a floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now", and under that theres a footnote in other words saying its safe to remove the disk for install. I have a TEC CDRW/DVDRW and the the model number isnt on there site to download the specific driver for the install of Windows.
Please any help with this issue is appreciated and thank you!
