Hi,
I had a problem while playing fortnite. Fortnite randomly freezes (discord keeps working and I can talk with my squad) and then (after 3-8 seconds) buzzing sound appears and pc shutdown. Then after few seconds laptop turn on. One day it happens 3-4 times, another day no issues or just once.
*Playing Watch Dogs 2 on ultra setting with no issues (80-99% gpu and cpu usage, temps: Gpu ~65 C, cpu 72-79 C, while Fortnite usally keeps 30-50% gpu and cpu usage, temps :Gpu 49-52 C, cpu 61-71 C)
*Event viewer shows kernel 41 and volmgr.sys 161 (Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation)
*Temperatures - OK. Gpu 49-52 C, cpu 61-71 C (on freezed time the same)
*Memtest86 - done with no errors
*chkdsk - done
*sfc - done
*Cpu stress test - ok.
*Gpu Heaven benchmark (ultra/extreme) settings - no problems.
*With cpu undervolt or without - the same issue.
*With gpu undervolt or without - the same issue.
*HP hardware diagnostic tests - ok.
*Clean windows install (windows media creation tool) done with full formatting/deleting disks partitions.
Laptop specs:
HP OMEN 17-an005na
i7-7700hq
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070
16 GB RAM
Ssd (fortnite on it)
Hdd
Any suggestions?
