Fortnite nerfed weapons

What do you think nerfing shotguns and jetpacks will bring equilibrium to the game? Personally, I don't think it will create balance.

I've read the whole article. As it seems developers are introducing some major fixes and balances to the Fortnite Battle Royale. Personally I think that it will create a balance

players are rather smart and will quickly find a new way to dominate. every change brings complaints as a lot of folks don't wanna learn a new tactic with new stuff since what they liked to use has been "nerfed". gonna have to just learn a new way to play as the changes roll in. as soon as you get good again, they'll change ti again to adjust some more. "balance" is just about impossible since any minor difference in strength between weapons leads to tactics developing to take advantage of that difference. only way to do it is to have all weapons with exactly the same stats and only appearance differences. how boring would that be?

the trick is to figure out how the changes effect tactics. check if an old tactic that was not very good is all of a sudden a better way to go due to the changes and so on. they nerf the ranged weapon? maybe a close kill strategy is now viable or vice versa. adapt and survive. or just complain, stick to old habits and get your arse spanked over and over by those who did adapt
