Fortnite stuttering and screen tearing heavily.

So I have a Pc I built this year, and these are the specs
Ryzen 5 1600
8 gb ddr4 ram
gtx 1060 6gb msi
msi x370 gaming plus mobo
1TB HDD
Acer predator monitor 144hz 1080p
AOC monitor 60hz 1080p
Windows 10 64 bit

I tried practically every method people posted on forums, and none of them did anything. I tried setitng the refresh rate to 120hz because people were saying it has to be a multiple of the other monitor. The stuttering and screen tearing either gets worse or remains the same. My internet seems to be fine as well.

Do you have one 8gb Ram stick?

Ryzen needs dual channel ram to work properly. I would suggest using a 16gb (2x8gb) ddr4 3200mhz minimum.

Well I actually looked for a couple hours online and the stuttering reduced significantly after I changed the refresh rate of my 144hz monitor to 120hz, and kept the other on 60hz. Then I played in fullscreen on high settings and it improved alot. I also had to disable my discord notifications. I saw performance tests done on fortnite with 8gb DDR4 and 16gb DDR4 and the difference was minimal. I'm pretty sure the issue isn't 100% fixed but it's perfectly fine.

It's not the difference between 8gb and 16gb, its the difference between single and dual channel ram. Ryzen benefits from dual channel ram.
