I installed both Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 7 and neither worked. When I try to open either app, either from the Start menu, the Microsoft Store, or the Xbox App, it just opens to this splash screen and hangs there for about 30 seconds, before automatically closing the app. I did a clean boot of Windows 10 and tried reinstalling them. No luck. Other methods I've tried:
WSReset
Manually resetting the Store app, both game apps, and the Xbox app.
Playing on a secondary account on my PC
Nothing worked. The only thing I can think of is time-consuming and will take up a huge chunk of space that I really don't want to have to allocate, but is it possible that because my OS is on an SSD and I save my games to a larger HDD, that's what's making the games not want to load? In other words, do I have to install the games on the same drive as Windows 10?
My specs, if relevant:
Ryzen 7 2700x CPU
AORUS GAMING 470 x Motherboard
GTX 970 GPU
16 GB DDR3, 3000mhz RAM
