Question Foxconn 945G7MD BIOS always forgets its settings

I have an old Foxconn 945G7MD. When I shut the computer down and wait 5-10 minutes, it will forget it's BIOS settings (Expect for the time and date settings) I replaced the CMOS battery, and nothing really changed. How should I fix this issue?

Did you mean "except" for time and date - just a typo - I think....

BIOS settings being forgotten but time and date remain correct - is that right?

What OS and where is the computer getting its' time and date?

Was the replacement CMOS battery fresh and tested in another system? Is the CMOS battery getting drained?

Perhaps:

Update BIOS (see the link tab).

Or possibly a new BIOS chip.
