This is on my to-buy list as long as it's below $300AUSD.
Reason? Because I actually need something this small to mount to the back of our HDTV.

My last HTPC build was a bit of a fail.. 5KG was just too heavy I think.
Sure the HDTV was strong enough for it, but the monitor I was going to mount it to as a dedicated touch test platform it was just too heavy for.

The first picture (vertical of the front) is incorrect and is clearly different from the second picture of the back.

not sure why you'd get this over a c-70 netbook unless price is really different. Guessing price will be around $150 plus $75 for disk/memory plus $100 for windows vs $250-300 tops for netbook.

For one thing, it's not very easy to mount a netbook on the back of your VESA TV or monitor.

i've had myself a C-50 fusion netbook for almost 2 years now (not sure how much better this C-70 would be). in spite of the horribly underpowered CPU, it's been a handy little machine and can easily handle blu-ray bitrate 1080p video.
so yes, this nanoPC here would be a great HTPC if all you're planning on using it for is watching movies or typing emails, but don't expect to game with it or have a completely smooth browsing experience.

Looks like a nice box for HTPC. I'd consider getting one and adding and external blu-ray drive. Yes most of my media content will be streaming, but I'd like to have the option.
