Fps change issue

I recently bought a 1060 6gb and when I first bought it I was getting around 300-500 fps in csgo and a week later I'm only getting 100-300 , this is the same in other games and it's lowered for no reason I can think of , my computer specs
•i7-4790k 40x cache multipliers ( a few years old)
•supercloked gtx 1060gb ( a few weeks old )
•Alienware liquid cooling
•no ssd for now
•Alienware pre build and software
I also upgraded a 760ti OEM to the 1060 and there was a significant performance difference at first but then later lowered to the fps and performance I was getting from the 760

Looks like a conflicting driver problem. First thing to try is downloading Device Driver Uninstaller. Use that, then reinstall the latest graphics drivers.

Then, in the future, when you go to install new drivers, always select to do a clean installation.

Win10 is it? Both Csgo and Win10 have had updates applied that have lowered performance in Csgo for a lot of people - there are discussions about it and possible fixes if you do a search regarding win10 csgo low fps. A combination of Win10, Csgo and gpu drivers.

Xbox dvr feature in Win10 can also affect performance.

As said above a clean install is recommended but as you say the performance was fine before leads me to think it might have something to do with Win10 updates that eventually came about. Win10 can try to update your gpu drivers and may do a bad job at it.

Try the first suggestion, use ddu in safe mode and try again.

Im not on Win 8.1 so not sure if you can still disable automatic driver updates, if you can still, disable it before using ddu/reinstalling drivers.

So basically I bought a 1060 6Gb around 1/2 weeks ago , when first using the card I got around 300-500 fps on CSGO , and over 100 on battlegrounds and other games similar , but now I've noticed I only get 100-300 on csgo and under 100 on battlegrounds. I'm going to get straight to the point and say I have an Alienware computer around 4 years old that's rarely been cleaned , contains an i7-4790k overclocked to 4ghz from 3.2 , my graphics card isn't overclocked and straight out the box (EVGA) , I've run malware bites and deleted the unwanted software and still no difference and all drivers are up to date

Things to do. :

1.Uninstall the drivers using this program. : http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

2. Install fresh drivers from nvidia website.

3.Add this command to boot on steam with cs go it wil make your game run smooth 150-200fps up to 300 all the time. : -novid +mat_queue_mode 2 +fps_max 300

4.If you want higher average framerate change it to this command. : -novid +mat_queue_mode 1 +fps_max 300

5.Make sure that you have in nvidia control panel marked to use only gtx 1060 in global settings.

6.You are good to go.

Ok, so, you are experiencing lower fps in games that are still being polished and highly unoptimised (PUBG) and in games that are know to have inconsistent fps with newer gen hardware (CSGO).
Run a Unigine heaven benchmark, a 3DMark, other games and see if you have issues as well.
Also, CLEAN your sytem dude. It's gonna take some time but it's good for it.
