Hi so basically I was playing games fine at my normal fps. But then one day I decided to mess with my GPU fan settings and mess with my CPU fan settings. I was just trying to optimize my PC a bit better since my fans were a little loud. But now for some reason I am getting less FPS in game. I play CSGO, and before I was getting fine fps, like 200 or something. But after I messed with those settings im getting like 100 or less fps. It kinda sucks. If anyone could help me with this that would be great.

PC specs:
GPU: RTX 2080
CPU: AMD ryzen 2700x
Motherboard: ASUS x470 pro
RAM: 16 gb
I have a liquid cpu cooler

Any other information y'all need to help me, I will gladly tell you. Thanks.

Edit: I solved the problem. Turns out I had to set the battery thing to maximum performance in nvidia control panel and the same for power settings.

Did you revert the settings?

Sometimes we fiddle with settings not fullly understanding how they work.
Then if performance gets worse, we do not remember how to get back.
If you are a fiddler, take a system checkpoint before embarking on a series of changes.
Not a bad thing to do before a windows or other software update.
