Hello! I was playing games on my new Lenovo gaming laptop. Whenever I unplug it, my FPS lowers significantly. This happens with all games, but fortnite for example went from 64fps 1080p medium settings to 30fps after I unplugged it!
Is this normal for gaming laptop? I assume the battery can’t give out enough power to all the components running under load? If not, is there a way to fix this? If this happens normally with all laptops, then it’s no problem, but I just want to make sure I don’t have a issue wrong with mine specifically.
I haven’t messed with any system settings so everything is default windows 10 64bit
Specs if needed:
I7 6700hq
Gtx 960m
16gb 2133mhz ddr4
1tb HDD
240gb SSD
Thank you!
