So I have given my GPU at a service centre of replacement and they are saying that the asus strix rx 480 OC edition (GPU I have given for replacement) is out of stock. But they said the rx 480 8g.. that is the non OC edition is in stock so if I was ok they would order it for me.. So I want to know if there is a huge fps diff between this two gpu's. Thanks

Solution
Is up to you but the one you already have(the overclock edition) is more expensive than the regular non overclock. So technically he wants to give you a cheaper product. Also the one you have has a triple fan design for better cooling the regular cheaper versions have only 2 fans.
The asus strix rx 480 OC edition is better than the non over clock edition because it comes factory overclocked that means faster memory and higher(faster) GPU Clock so the dif could be between 5-15+ better FPS compared to a regular RX 480. But you won't be able to notice any difference.

So what do you think?? The guy at the service center will tell me tomorrow how long it will take for the oc edition to get back in stock. I will let you know tomorrow. B it I think 5 to 15 fps is a lot.

Hey also can you give me some more graphs or charts for the differences between oc and normals one?? I don't think I am going to buy a card in another 5 years or something...

This are the features of the ASUS Strix RX 480 OC Edition that the Regular RX 480 doesn't have.

Overclocked out of the box
Lower temperatures
Fans stop in idle
8 GB VRAM
Two fan headers that are synced with the GPU's fans
Quieter than AMD reference design
Backplate included
Customizable RGB lighting
HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.4
DVI port included

Oh woops sorry! Its my mistake. By normal one I don't mean the asus dual rx 480 or some thing. I mean the asus strix rx 480 8g gaming. While the one I had was the asus strix rx 480 ''O''8G gaming... So I don't think there is a major difference between them? Both have 3 fans

Those are pretty similar.
