Question fps drop at some games after buying new monitor

So i was playing on old samsung monitor (60hz 720p), and now i bought new dell monitor (75hz 1440p) and at some games my fps drop to 30-40fps, before i was able to play it at more than 60fps. I would be happy if someone could help me.

cpu: ryzen 7 3700x
gpu: rtx 3060 12gb
ram: 16gb 3200mhz

high resolution mean need more from the gpu.
upgrade the gpu

You have increased your pixel count by 4x, that will definitely have a performance impact.
