ey, so recently I've been having struggles with my PC. I'm getting big fps drops in csgo.
PC Specs:
-Asus A78m-E
- Athlon x4 760k
- Asus Turbo GTX 960
- 16gb DDr3
- Win 10
My fps has been dropping from 180 (mm) and 120(dm) to around 30-50fps.
The thing is that I used to play normaly and I can still warmup and shit at 150fpss but every 3 minutes my fps would drop to 40-50. But sometimes after a couple hours of using the pc I woyld consistantly play on 100fpss in 5v5 matches and my fps would randomly drop to 30 or when many people shoots at the same time. The point is that GPU is okay I believe there is a problem with my CPU. I'm just tilted AF couse it used to work well couple weeks ago.
Note:
Fps is dropping on other games as well.
Drop is bigger after long use of pc
Drivers are updated
It didnt happen after an update
If there is a bottleneck going on would it be worth buying a new cooler (using stock) to overclock the cpu to 4.3ghz.
