Question fps drops in farcry 6

hi guys
when i play farcry 6 at ultra setting my fps drops suddenly and after restarting the game it will be ok.
do you think the problem is my pc bottle necking or the game has an optimization problem?
my pc:
i7-10700
z4980-p
rtx 2060 super
ram 16-3200

Coolermaster is the brand of the PSU while 650W is the advertised wattage of the unit and Gold is the advertised 80+ efficiency rating. You need to specify the model of the unit.

If I were you, I'd try and see if your motherboard is pending any BIOS updates. As for your discrete GPU, was it purchased used? Did you try using DDU to remove all GPU drivers from your platform then manually reinstalling with the latest driver version sourced off of Nvidia's support site?

I have to think that is your settings. I played it a few times through on my 8700K, GTX 1080 SC, 32 GB 3200 RAM rig. According to Alex Battaglia's DF recommended settings guides, the 2060 Super is pretty close in performance to my GPU, and I never dared play it on Ultra.

i put it on high setting in 2k and got70-90fps average

And that's the settings I would leave it on, because there are places that will be lower frame rate than that. I adjust my settings more for smooth gameplay than FPS. Even if I'm averaging 60 FPS, if the gameplay does not feel smooth, I will adjust settings.

Are you playing with the high resolution texture pack installed? It needs a card with 12GB of VRAM so uninstall it if you are. I'm playing it now and averaging 150 FPS at 1440p max settings but my system is significantly more powerful. I'm not getting any weird frame drops anywhere though.

This is not true, I played it 3 times through with the HD pack on my 8 GB GTX 1080 SC. I could even go as high as 4K on the in game benchmark, but you need to be more careful with your settings than that for certain parts of the game like I said above.

I know full well Ubi states 12GB required for the HD pack, but I found that claim to be overly conservative. They tend to speculate about a lot of performance related things anymore, without comprehensive testing to back it up, as many devs do now.

This person has same spec as mine, but is running it at Ultra and 1440p (I ran mostly High with 1080p). This is just the intro though, as the game progresses and more enemies and effects come into play, you need to go High and 1080p with this level hardware.

Under HD Textures settings, Activado means Activated.
