FPS drops when moving on fortnite

Whenever i move or look around on fortnite my fps more than halves
I have done a complete clean install of my pc new os and everything. This started happening a couple of weeks ago after a patch.
Someone please help.

AMD 8350 4.5 GHZ 8 core processor
16 GB Ram
GTX 980ti
500GB SSD

What is the make and model of your PSU and how is it? Is this issue only cropping up with Fortnite? By patch are you referring to the Windows update or a patch of the game?

Use system restore to reset to back to when all was well.
