Whenever I playing certain games like Forza Horizon 4, my sometimes fps caps itself to 60, 70, 90 fps, then drops down and caps itself to under 20 fps for a few seconds before going back up to 60, 70, 90, and repeats.
This also happens when I'm playing games like Apex Legends where it hovers around 60 before capping itself to around 30.
This doesn't happen to other games so I was wondering if it was because they are both on an external hard drive
