My gaming rig is an GTX 1060, Ryzen 5 2600, with 16 GB ram and my fps is 30-60, never higher than 60. My average fps while looting is 45, while fighting or looking at an town I get 30 fps. Anyone know whats wrong? i should be getting 60+ at least. My friends have reporting getting 60+ with the exact same setup

sgtchamber Have you disabled Vsync, in the "Video" menu? From your description, it sounds like it's enabled, which would result in your FPS. By the way, I'm running the game in two of my rigs, with the same specs as yours. Once you check your Vsync setting, "then" you should consider sliding "Adaptive Resolution FPS Target" to 100.

When I play apex legends I get about 100 fps in some areas, however during gun fights and most of the time I struggle to get an constant 60+. Fps during gun fights are less than 60, and navigating the map in desert areas or areas with a lot of textures I get 40-50 fps. Same thing with rainbow six siege, I only get 60-80 fps. While many other people reach 144 fps. My temperatures while playing is 75C to 80C GPU and 60C CPU. My GPU usage is at 100%, and my CPU usage is at 20% for apex legends. All settings on low and vsync off. I've reinstalled windows twice, and still nothing. Hoping to find some help here.
