I'm having serious problems with my frames per second in video games.
I'm wondering if my Mobo or my CPU could be potentially bottle necking me, considering I just upgraded my GPU to a 1060, and when I go from Very Low settings to Ultra settings I see almost no change in FPS (although it looks much nicer).
My Build:
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6gb
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor 4.0 GHz
Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+
RAM: 32gb RAM DDR3 (4 sticks)
Harddrive: SAMSUNG 840 EVO 250GB (for OS and Games only, other HDD's for storage)
PSU: 850Watt
OS: Windows 10
I usually play: League of Legends (LoL) or Playerunknown Battle Grounds (pubg), but the FPS issue seems to be across the board with any game... I upgraded from a 660 FTW 3gb if that helps.
What I have attempted: Updated all my drivers, reinstalling windows, and moving GPU to other pci ports. Temperature seems to be where it should be for CPU and GPU... I'm at a complete loss.
Thanks in Advanced!
